Happy Two Week birthday to our peaches! I confess that I was not so secretly hoping that as we neared that 2 week mark we’d be hearing sounds of going home. It was optimistic thinking, of course, as we knew it would likely be more like 4 weeks… but still, a mama can hope, right?
The girls are doing well. Right now it’s starting to look like Gabby may be ready to leave before Claire. It’s too early to make any predictions, but when I talked to the ‘boss’ yesterday she gaged that we had probably “a week to a week and a half” left. Gabby is doing very well at taking her bottle!! I’m thrilled! She horks it down like she’s never going to get another meal, and that’s much more like the Noggle babies I’ve known. 😉 However she had a Brady last night for the first time in quiet awhile. Both girls haven’t been having them like they were before, so it was a little disappointing that she had one again. The nurse did remind me that if she has one it’s 5 more days before she can leave. *sigh* So pray that they would be done with Bradys, cause I’ll be so sad if we have to stay that long for one of those! Claire is improving in her bottle feedings as well, though she is not yet as enthusiastic as Gabby. She’ll get there though!
Anyway, to celebrate their 2 weeks we took the “big kids” up to visit them today! That is always an adventure!! We all had fun though, and I think it’s so sweet to watch the older 3 with “their babies!” The boys especially are super sweet with them! Love it! So since I typically yack your head off in my long-winded posts, I’ll leave it at this and let you enjoy the photos from today! Keep our littlest loves in your prayers and hopefully we will all be home together soon!!
Can you tell which is Qade and which is Myles? 😉
