Here’s our “Ella de Bella’s” 8 month photo shoot pics. I think my Dad was the first one who called our girlie Ella Bella, and it’s kinda stuck, but now Qade has been telling people that her name is Ella da (the?) Bella. LOL! Cracks me up!
Anyway, I was playing with my new damask curtain backdrop. As you’ll probably notice it needs a little more work. I’ve got to figure out how to get it pulled tight enough that it looks like a wall rather than a curtain. 🙂 Practice practice.
I sat Ella up on her own for these shots. She’s been practicing, but still isn’t very stable. She did pretty well, though she didn’t want to pick her hands up off the floor after rolling over once on it. 🙂 She’s such a tolerant baby! I’m still manually focusing my 50mm lens and that’s rough with a little one. One of my fav features of the lens was that it was so “fast” and I could snag little ones on the move really easily with it. Now it’s just about worthless. Grrrrr! Will be making a call to Nikon to see if they have any suggestions for it.
