But it wasn't dead! Apparently the cat let it escape to under the dryer and there it was hiding, biding it's time no doubt. But I peeked under there, saw a tail moving and promptly called my braver than brave hubby to dispatch it. With the help of the cat he got the critter outside where, I believe, the dog actually finished the job. Ugh! Dislike rodents highly!!! Actually I did find the mouse!! But it wasn’t dead!
