heard tonight from Qade. “Chill out, Mommy!” Unfortunately for him it was WAY out of context since he was responding to my instructions of, “Obey right away, Qade.” Naughty naughty. Fortunately his grandma who was present at the time of the little slip up did not laugh out loud as I’m sure she was very tempted to do. :-) Fun times with vocal kids!

    Oh wow! Did that one take you by surprise? Sometimes it is so hard for me not to laugh….even when they are being naughty :)

    It did take me by surprise, but I managed not to laugh. :-) Occasionally a laugh will escape me, or Stu and I will get each other laughing even when we shouldn’t. It’s hard to teach them what is appropriate sometimes. I never really thought about it when I’d tell him to “chill out” that he’d turn it around. :-) Pretty smart little lad.
