I’ve been inspired by the photos of others with lesser cameras to work on getting a good moon shot. The moon is much less than full right now, but there’s still no time like the present to get started. 
So here it is… my best moon shot so far. I’ve got to keep practicing and work on the settings. It’s not as easy as it seems like it should be. I mean, the brightest thing in the dark sky, but imagine taking a picture of a spotlight in a dark room. Yeah. Anyway, here it is without further ado. Nighty-night!
Oooh!! This is beautiful! I can make out the texture on the moon and a few little stars…. awesome!
Thanks! I’m hoping to get a good “full moon” shot soon. This is the first one I’ve taken that hasn’t just looked like a spotlight.
