Not Me Monday

This is a rather unique not me post…. for you see, I forgot to keep track, aka write down, all of my not me moments this week. So I’ll just leave you with one.

I did not spend a wonderfully golden afternoon snapping pictures of two adorable boys instead of unpacking from our trip. Nope….

What handsome boys you have, Rachel! It looks like you have such a nice camera! Ours is starting to go, so I think a new one will be on the list of “needs” in the near future!
I am thinking about joining this “Not Me Monday” thing. It might be good to confess all the things I allow – especially lately! It seems I let more stuff “pass” when I am expecting!

  2. Rachel says:

Oh, you should do not-me’s! They’re so liberating. ;-) Oh and I’m pretty sure that it’s official to let expectant mommies have lots of “passes” with their other munchkins. ;-)
Thanks for the complement! I think our lads are handsome too!! And yes, our camera is very nice! I’ve really enjoyed learning to use it. I was totally intimidated by it at first, but it’s a wonder! I don’t know how in the world we’d ever live w/o digital!! Hope you all can find a good camera. We got a new point and shoot this summer to complement the honkin’ thing I lug around, and it’s been nice to have too! I had forgotten the ‘ease’ of using one of those.

Yes, we will probably just get a “point and shoot” camera since neither of us is much of a photographer. But with growing kids, we almost can’t “live” without a camera to capture all those moments that pass too quickly! I haven’t been taking as many lately and already feel guilty like I am letting their lives pass me by and not capturing it all on photographs! I know that is somewhat ridiculous, but I know you understand how I feel. These kids grow way too fast!
